Ini satu tuduhan yang perlu diberi perhatian serius. Ketua Bahagian Umno Seremban mendakwa Pengerusi JKKK Negeri Sembilan yang baru dilantik ada yang bankrap dan ada yang sedang dibicarakan di mahkamah atas tuduhan rasuah. Tuduhan ini bukan dari mulut PKR, PAS atau DAP. Tapi dari mulut Umno sendiri.

Seremban Umno complains of snubs by state

SEREMBAN: The Seremban Umno division yesterday alleged that it was being isolated and ignored by the state Umno leadership.
Division chief Datuk Ishak Ismail said it was not consulted on the appointment of heads of state Barisan Nasional community service centres, which were set up in opposition-held state constituencies.
"We are also against the idea of appointing state executive councillors as 'foster parents' to opposition-held state constituencies. Why appoint these exco members when there are many capable leaders in the division?"
Ishak, who has held the Seremban division chief's post since 1988, also questioned the recent appointments of Village and Development Committees (JKKK) and their chairmen.
"Some of those appointed are bankrupts, while some are involved in ongoing corruption cases in court."
He said the appointments contradicted the state government's assurance that a background check would be conducted in any state appointment.
Ishak had earlier demonstrated his dissatisfaction by not attending the state Umno liaison committee meeting held at the state Umno building on Sunday. He claimed the state Umno leadership was treating the division as "non-existent". He also said he would submit a letter of protest to the state party leadership on the appointments.
