Bekas kader LTTE diberi pekerjaan di Malaysia


Setelah gerila Tamil Eelam LTTE menyerah kepada pihak berkuasa Sri Lanka, selepas proses pemulihan mereka telah diambil kerja oleh beberapa negara di seluruh negara, antaranya ialah Malaysia. Berapa ramai bekas gerila muda Tamil Eelam ini telah berada di Malaysia sekarang ini ? Dalam sektor pekerjaan apa mereka ditempatkan ? Adakah Kementerian Dalam Negeri dan Perisikan Tentera memantau semua pergerakan bekas gerila Tamil Eelam di Malaysia ini dan juga majikan yang menggaji mereka ?

Ini bukan isu perkauman, tetapi isu keselamatan negara dan keselamatan rakyat jelata.

Former seven LTTE cadres-given employment in Malaysia

A young group of former LTTE cadres surrender to Government who underwent rehabilitation was given employment in Malaysia. This opportunity was jointly organized by Ministry of Justice and Law reforms and Foreign Employment Bureau.

Picture here are seven of the ex-L T T E youth obtaining the blessings of the clergy after they were given their passports and relevant documents in Sammankodu Sri Manikka Vinayakar Kovil at Bambalapitiya. Milinda Moragoda Minister of Justice and Law Reforms, V Puththirasigamoney Deputy Minister and Suhada Gamlath, Secretary were also present at the occasion.

Paris, 29 March, (Asiantribune.com): Asian Tribune investigations have revealed that France, Malaysia and UK are three key locations in which the Tamil Tigers got their training and purchased equipment for their air wing.

Rehabilitated LTTE cadres get job opportunities in Malaysia

(Colombo-Lankapuvath-September 03) Former LTTE cadres who went for rehabilitation following their surrender to government of Sri Lanka were given job opportunities in Malaysia.

This opportunity was jointly organized by Ministry of Justice and Law Reforms and Foreign Employment Bureau.

A group of former LTTE cadres obtained their passports and relevant documents in Sammankodu Sri Manikka Vinayakar Kovil at Bambalapitiya today.

Minister of Justice and Law Reforms Milinda Moragoda Deputy Minister V. Puththirasigamoney and Suhada Gamlath, Secretary of Justice and Law Reforms Ministry were also present on the occasion.

6 LTTE cadres nabbed in Paris for murder of French policeman

NewsParis, 24 February, (Asiantribune.com): French police arrested six Sri Lankan Tamils including a woman in connection with the murder of a French policeman on Saturday night. The 33-year old policeman was killed when he questioned a group of LTTE cadres who were collecting funds at Tamil-dominated La Courneuve area in the French capital.

Police said that the group grabbed the policeman and used his own pistol to kill him. The murder weapon was later found hidden in a dustbin at the residence of one Kandiah, a fund-collector of the LTTE. The incident has taken place near the residence of Mehtha, LTTE leader in Paris, who is in police custody since April, 2007.

Police said that the six Tamil suspects are being interrogated to ascertain their criminal activities in support of the proscribed terrorist organization.

Meanwhile French President Nicolas Sarkozy said that killing of a policeman was a very serious incident and the law and order machinery would take stern action against the culprits. He made this remark when the incident of killing of a French policeman by a Tamil gang was raised at a television discussion on Sunday night.

Since April 2007, half a dozen LTTE cadres have been detained in France. Earlier 19 LTTE cadres were arrested, but several of them ere later released on conditional bail.

Earlier this month, another six LTTE cadres were detained by police after they damaged a car belong to the Indian Embassy during a demonstration in front of the Embassy.
